This area of the festival hosts several interactive booths featuring representatives from various non-profit groups dedicated to raising awareness of important issues such as ecological sustainability, partying responsibly, cancer research, and more. Best Buddies
Best Buddies envisions a world where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are so successfully integrated into our schools, our workplaces and our general communities that our current efforts will no longer be necessary.
Best Buddies is running on its 26th successful year. It is a vibrant, international non-profit organization that has grown from one original chapter to almost 1,900 middle school, high school, and college chapters worldwide. Best Buddies programs engage participants in each of the 50 United States, and over 50 countries around the world. It has positively impacted nearly 900,000 individuals with and without disabilities worldwide. Best Buddies volunteers annually contribute, at no cost to their communities, support services that equate to more than $168 million USD. As a result of their involvement with Best Buddies, people with IDD secure rewarding jobs, live on their own, become inspirational leaders, and make lifelong friendships. One of the best examples is Lauren Potter, also known as Becky on Glee:

Black Jaguar White Tiger Foundation
Everyone at The Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation understands the fact that defenseless and selfless animals are suffering because us humans have gone through lengths to mess up this beautiful planet of ours.
They are fighting to eradicate the idea that a living being can be reduced to a simple object through possession. We only have authority to possess things like chairs, computers, TVs, etc and even those aren’t truly ours. We are raising awareness about how each animal is sentimental, intelligent, and unique. They have a vast array of emotions just like us. The only thing that they don´t do is speak a human language. By giving them love and respect to the extreme, as well as taking care of their basic needs of course, the interactions that the team shares with them have become something magical and extremely magnetic. Little by little they are changing what most people think about nature and all of its children.

Dance For Paralysis
The Dance for Paralysis team is committed to providing state of the art equipment and resources necessary to enhance the mobility and access to the daily world of all persons, regardless of the extent of individual needs. Our team is also committed to the integrity, dedication, responsibilities, and empathy that guarantee all persons the maximum mobility during their lifetime. No person should ever be denied maximum mobility because of financial status and that is what our members’ honor and stand for.
At each Dance For Paralysis event their team invites individuals living with paralysis to be our guests. In doing so we provide them with the entertainment experience of a lifetime. The events aim to positively impact and enhance their overall life experience. Each event is a unique opportunity to create awareness by providing participants with current paralysis research, as well as information on accessibility to local rehabilitation centers. The Dance for Paralysis team believes that the unique experience we provide for our guests will generate enough resources and awareness to put victims of paralysis in a position to lift themselves out of their wheelchairs and someday join us for a dance.

Dubstep Cures Cancer
DubstepCuresCancer is a brand/charity/youtube channel. Their aim is to feature Dubstep artists on their Youtube channel and bring high quality merchandise to rock. The profit from our merchandise sales is donated to cancer research, so far we have managed $25,000 in donations! Check out their channel of cancer curing dubstep below:
Currently they have zero outside funding so the sales from our merchandise run our donations and overhead costs. Between 30-40% of each sale is donated, with the rest being used to buy new merchandise, pay for costs such as filing for tax exempt status, etc. If you’d like to donate so the organization can hopefully soon make full donations towards curing cancer, check out their merchandise and donate HERE!! Educate Tomorrow
Educate Tomorrow serves the Miami-Dade County’s foster care youth, and strive to make education an attainable goal for even the most disadvantaged. Educate Tomorrow implements a holistic program composed of one-on-one mentoring, educational and independent living activities, and in-school support for foster youth between the ages of 14 and 23. The cornerstone of the program is mentoring, which is one of the most effective ways to change the life of a disadvantaged youth.
Research shows that youth in mentoring programs are more engaged in school and have better attendance . In addition, studies have found an association between participation in a long-term mentoring program and increased college attendance and improved interpersonal and life skills . Researchers have also found that youth like those in ET’s program – who are the most disadvantaged and have high numbers of risk factors – benefit the most from mentoring programs .
Kiwanis International is a global organization of members of every age, who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.
The name “Kiwanis” means “we trade” or “we share our talents.” It was coined from an American Indian expression, Nunc Kee-wanis. Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? Lifebeat, Music Fights HIV/AIDS, founded in 1992, is the leading national nonprofit dedicated to educating America’s youth (13-29) about HIV/AIDS prevention. Lifebeat mobilizes the talents and resources of the music industry to deliver HIV/AIDS and STDs awareness messages through broadcast, print, social and digital media, and distributes educational literature and condoms at concert venues, music festivals, clubs and other events. Lifebeat also provides quality of life services and support, such as musical performances, for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families.
